Give Aloha—Foodland’s Annual Community Matching Gifts Program—is officially kicking off on Tuesday, September 1st!
Throughout the entire month of September, you can make your regular donation to North Hawaii Hospice go even further. Foodland and its partners will match a portion of every donation made to our organization, directly boosting your impact on our patient care and family support services.
How to Give:
1. Visit any Foodland or Sack ‘N Save store in Hawaii during September.
2. Go to the checkout with your Maikaʻi card.
3. Tell the cashier you want to donate to North Hawaii Hospice.
4. Provide our 5-digit code: 77447
5. Choose any amount up to $249 per Maikaʻi card.
Other Ways to Support:
This year, Foodland is partnering with local artist Suzanne Jennerich to sell exclusive, colorful Give Aloha merchandise in stores. A portion of all merchandise proceeds goes straight into the matching gifts fund, which increases the total matchup potential for organizations like ours!
Your generosity ensures we can continue providing compassionate care to our North Hawaii community. Thank you for standing by us year after year.
Floating Lantern Ceremony — Rescheduled Announcement
With heavy hearts, we’re postponing this weekend’s Floating Lantern Ceremony. We’ll now gather on Sunday, October 4.
This wasn’t an easy call — the forecast brings a high chance of wind and rain, and our event space has no covered shelter for the hundreds of guests we expect. Just as importantly, many of our North Hawaii communities are still without power as we recover from Hurricane Lala. Our attention and support belong with them and our southern island communities, severely devastated by this storm.
If you’ve already reserved a lantern, it will be honored on October 4. Reservations remain open if you’d like to reserve one or add another: NHH Floating Lantern Reservations
